Daycare in Greece for young children, Daily Care of Newborns & Babies, Pediatric First Aid for Babies & Children

Generation 2.0 RED, under the context of the Employability project “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women”, is organising a week dedicated to women, who apart from being mothers, they are, also, employed or job seekers.

Through these last seminars offered beginning of April, the participants will have the opportunity to get up-to-date information and develop essential skills concerning childcare. In detail:

Monday, April 3rd, 10.30 a.m.

“Daycare in Greece for young children” info session

  • What are the options that exist for working mothers?
  • From what age can a child attend a school/nursery?
  • Are they for free?

 

Tuesday, April 4th, 10.30 a.m.

Duration: 2 hours

“Daily Care of Newborns & Babies” course by the non-profit association “Ευτοκία”

Kyrou Maria, MSc, Midwife, Pregnancy and Postnatal Group Consultant and Baby Massage Trainer, is going to guide us through the essential daily caring of newborns and babies, providing us with instructions for the baby’s sleep, baby massage for the relief of gases/constipation/colic’s, daily caring of the face and body and many more. The course is open, also, to women who are interested in developing those skills for their profession as caregivers/babysitters.

*A certificate of attendance will be provided.

 

Wednesday, April 5th, 10.00

Duration: 3 hours

“Pediatric First Aid for Babies & Children” course by the non-profit association “Ευτοκία”

Nefeli Daliani, Certified First Aid Educator and Yoga Instructor, is going to focus on the child emergency care, guiding us on how to respond appropriately in an emergency situation and how to recognize the main sudden illnesses.

The course is open, also, to women who are interested in developing those skills for their profession as caregivers/babysitters.
