Following the election of representatives of the Racist Violence Recording Network (RVRN) at the National Council Against Racism and Intolerance, we are pleased to announce the election of Jackie Abulimen, Advocacy Officer at Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity. It is our great pleasure and honor to contribute to the co-ordination of the positions of the Network and commit ourselves to this responsibility.
The National Council Against Racism and Intolerance stands against all hate speech, whether it concerns homophobia, transphobia, anti-semitism, islamophobia, xenophobia, sexism or any other form of racism and promotes social cohesion.
The Council is responsible for designing policies to prevent and combat racism and intolerance, overseeing the implementation of relevant legislation and its compliance with international and European law, promoting and coordinating the action of stakeholders to address it more effectively and enhancing cooperation with civil society on these issues.
