The MINDT Project: Empowering Migrants through Digital Transformation
At the MINDT – Migrants INcluded in Digital Transformation project, we are working to bridge the gap and provide the tools that migrants need to thrive in the digital age. In partnership with Generation for Change CY, we aim to empower migrants by helping them develop the digital skills necessary to fully integrate into their new country.
In the coming months, we’ll be launching several initiatives to make this transformation possible:
- Digital Skills Guide:
We will publish a comprehensive guide, packed with the digital tools and skills that are necessary for successful integration in Greece and Cyprus. This guide will serve as a roadmap for migrants, helping them navigate the digital landscape. - Training for Professionals:
Just as a compass needs to be calibrated, professionals working with migrants need the right training to guide them effectively. We will conduct specialized training sessions for those working on improving the digital literacy of migrant communities. - Workshops for Migrants:
We’ll be organizing hands-on workshops where migrants can learn how to use digital tools and discover the opportunities they provide. Think of these workshops as “toolkits” for mastering the digital world. - Website-Guide Development:
We will create an easy-to-navigate digital platform that will act as a guide for migrants. This will be a central hub where all the necessary resources, tutorials, and tips will be available to help migrants find their way through the digital world.
