Technical Manager – Pepper Hellas

Job Title: Technical Manager

Reports To: Head of Technical Department

Direct Reports: Technical Associate

Objective:

Ensures that Pepper Hellas obtains the complete picture in terms of Technical & Urban status and potential issues for all the Real Estate assets that are under its management and proposes potential remedial actions balancing cost, time and impact to asset marketability.

Main Responsibilities:

Reviews technical due diligence (TDD) reports delivered by external technical advisors for the assets held under management,
Identify the technical maturity actions appropriate to enable stakeholders make an informed assessment of the risks associated with the transaction,
Ensures that TDD reports incorporate additional time related aspects such as expected changes in urban planning, forestall zone mapping, coastal regulatory framework changes and potential impact from archaeological framework and its changes,
Ensures that TDD reports incorporate Legal framework related aspects, when from inspection becomes vague or evident that current technical status may not be based on official legal deeds,
For issues identified on the TDD reports, proposes remedial actions with a view to: o Retain asset value,

o Retain or improve asset marketability,

o Balance cost, time and operating risk,

Facilitates, monitors and ensures that approved TDD remedial actions are carried through as approved, ensuring:

o Cost management and transparency,

o Are carried through within approved time frame,

o Company policies relating to associate selection and fees are followed,

o Potential SLAs are honored

Skills:

Critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and resolve issues,
Ability to organize and prioritize,
Despite being technical in nature, must have a commercial flair,
Time management skills and ability to work under pressure,
Good written communication skills,

Requirements:

Engineering degree of any specialization (BS),
5+ years of field experience (either in Technical Studies, or Technical Projects), • Member of TEE or equivalent international association,
Strong Knowledge of Urban Planning & Building regulations,
Good knowledge of Environmental regulations relating to Real Estate assets, • Master’s degree (MBA) or Science (MS) is desired
