Η ΚΑΡΙΤΑΣ ΑΘΗΝΑΣ είναι Αναγνωρισμένο Φιλανθρωπικό Σωματείο, Μη Κερδοσκοπικού Χαρακτήρα και Μη Κυβερνητική Οργάνωση. Εδρεύει στην Αθήνα, στην οδό Ομήρου 9. Είναι φορέας της Καθολικής Εκκλησίας στην Αθήνα για την Ποιμαντική της Φιλανθρωπίας, της Αγαθοεργίας και της Κοινωνικής Συμπαράστασης. Βοηθά χωρίς διακρίσεις άτομα που έχουν ανάγκη, εμπνέεται από την Κοινωνική Διδασκαλία της Καθολικής Εκκλησίας, από τις εμπειρίες και τις ελπίδες των ανθρώπων που βρίσκονται σε μειονεκτική θέση, υφίστανται στερήσεις, είναι περιθωριοποιημένοι και ζουν σε συνθήκες φτώχειας.

Την πλήρωση της παρακάτω θέσης εργασίας Ιδιωτικού Δικαίου Ορισμένου Έργου με πλήρη απασχόληση:
- «Προϊστάμενος Κοινωνικής Υπηρεσίας» – Μία (1) θέση
Περίληψη θέσεων εργασίας:
Η ΚΑΡΙΤΑΣ ΑΘΗΝΑΣ υλοποιεί πάντα έργα κοινωνικής πρόνοιας και αντιμετώπισης καταστάσεων έκτακτης ανάγκης.
Στο πλαίσιο αυτό η ΚΑΡΙΤΑΣ ΑΘΗΝΑΣ και οι εταίροι μας προσφέρουμε σε πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες από τη Συρία, το Αφγανιστάν, το Ιράκ και άλλες χώρες, μέσω προγραμμάτων, ολοκληρωμένες υπηρεσίες, που συμπεριλαμβάνουν την πρόσβαση σε πληροφορίες διαχείρισης της υπόθεσης, παραπομπές, ενσωμάτωση, πολιτιστικές δραστηριότητες και ευκαιρίες μάθησης για ενήλικες σύμφωνα με τα ενδιαφέροντα και τις εκάστοτε ανάγκες αυτών των επωφελουμένων. Οι υπηρεσίες αυτές θα παρέχονται ανάλογα, ή στους χώρους φιλοξενίας της ΚΑΡΙΤΑΣ ΑΘΗΝΑΣ ή στα ήδη υπάρχοντα Κέντρα Λειτουργίας της, με στόχο την στήριξη των ευπαθών αυτών ομάδων.
Οι συγκεκριμένη θέση αφορά το Πρόγραμμα Στέγασης Δικαιούχων Διεθνούς Προστασίας στην Ελλάδα (ESTIA II).
Βασικός στόχος του Έργου είναι η υποστήριξη δικαιούχων διεθνούς προστασίας στην Ελλάδα προκειμένου να διευκολυνθεί η ένταξή τους και η ενσωμάτωσή τους στον κοινωνικό ιστό.
Κύρια καθήκοντα
Ο ρόλος του/της Προϊσταμένου Κοινωνικής Υπηρεσίας περιλαμβάνει τα παρακάτω χωρίς να περιορίζεται σε αυτά:
- Συντονισμός του έργου των Υπεύθυνων Υποθέσεων (Κοινωνικών Λειτουργών) του προγράμματος.
- Καθοδήγηση των Υπεύθυνων Υποθέσεων στην αντιμετώπιση περιπτώσεων που απαιτούν εμπλοκή των αρχών.
- Υποστήριξη των Υπεύθυνων Υποθέσεων μέσω Συμβουλευτικής Διεργασίας για τον ρόλο τους στο προσφυγικό πλαίσιο.
- Συμμετοχή στην Διεπιστημονική Ομάδα της Οργάνωσης για διαχείριση κρίσεων (crisis management).
- Συνεργασία με τον Νομικό Σύμβουλο της Οργάνωσης για καθοδήγηση σε περιπτώσεις όπου εμπλέκονται οι αρχές.
- Συντονισμός συναντήσεων με τους Υπεύθυνους Υποθέσεων σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα κατά τις οποίες συζητούνται δύσκολες υποθέσεις, ανταλλάσσονται εμπειρίες και καλές πρακτικές, δίνονται κατευθυντήριες γραμμές με βάση τις διαδικασίες της Οργάνωσης και την επαγγελματική ηθική.
- Αξιολόγηση των Υπεύθυνων Υποθέσεων με ταυτόχρονη καθοδήγηση για βελτιστοποίηση της απόδοσής τους.
- Σύνταξη ημερήσιων, εβδομαδιαίων και μηνιαίων αναφορών και εκθέσεων σε ελληνική / αγγλική γλώσσα.
- Συνεργασία με τον Συντονιστή Υπεύθυνων Πεδίου (ΣΥΠ) με σκοπό τη σωστή διαχείριση των ομάδων του Προγράμματος (Κοινωνικοί Λειτουργοί (ΚΛ), Υπεύθυνοι Πεδίου (ΥΠ), Διερμηνείς κτλ.)
- Συνεργασία με τον Υπεύθυνο Προγράμματος (ΥΠ) για την αξιολόγηση των αναγκών του προγράμματος και την υλοποίηση των αντίστοιχων αποφάσεων.
- Συνεργασία σε καθημερινή βάση με επαγγελματίες από άλλες ομάδες που παρέχουν άλλες υπηρεσίες.
- Συνεργασία με τους δωρητές για την εύρυθμη λειτουργία του προγράμματος.
- Συμμετοχή σε συναντήσεις, εκπροσώπηση της ΚΑΡΙΤΑΣ ΑΘΗΝΑΣ.
- Προτάσεις προς τον Υπεύθυνο Προγράμματος για βελτιώσεις στην ροή του προγράμματος.
Βασικές απαιτήσεις
- Πτυχίο Κοινωνικής Εργασίας / Ψυχολογίας απαραίτητο, μεταπτυχιακός τίτλος θα προτιμηθεί .
- Τουλάχιστον 3 χρόνια σχετικής εργασιακής εμπειρίας, εκ των οποίων τα 2 χρόνια σε αντίστοιχη θέση ευθύνης.
- Εμπειρία εργασίας με ευάλωτες ομάδες ή/και πρόσφυγες – μετανάστες θα προτιμηθεί.
- Πολιτισμική ευαισθησία και άψογα επικοινωνιακά προσόντα.
- Οργανωτικές δεξιότητες και ικανότητα διαχείρισης κρίσεων.
- Ικανότητα να εργαστεί με προθεσμίες και εντός καθορισμένων προτύπων.
- Ανεπτυγμένη ικανότητα ευελιξίας και ομαδικού πνεύματος.
- Ικανότητα διαχείρισης ομάδας.
- Άριστη ικανότητα χειρισμού Η/Υ και χρήσης Microsoft (Word, Excel και Outlook).
- Άριστη γνώση Αγγλικών σε γραπτό και προφορικό λόγο, με επιθυμητή τη γνώση και άλλων γλωσσών όπως γαλλικών, αραβικών και φαρσί.
- Γνώση λειτουργίας ΜΚΟ.
- Γνώση και αποδοχή των αρχών και αξιών της ΚΑΡΙΤΑΣ.
- Επιθυμητή η γνώση της Κοινωνικής Διδασκαλίας της Καθολικής Εκκλησίας.
- Έγκυρη άδεια παραμονής και εργασίας στην Ελλάδα / Δυνατότητα κατά νόμο εργασίας στην Ελλάδα.
Δυνατότητα για Ταξίδια
- Ταξίδια σε περιοχές υλοποίησης των προγραμμάτων εντός και πέριξ των Αθηνών.
Εργασιακό Περιβάλλον
- Η εργασία πραγματοποιείται σε χώρους υλοποίησης των προγραμμάτων, περιλαμβανομένων κατοικημένων κτιρίων και τυπικού περιβάλλοντος γραφείου.

Οι αιτήσεις θα εξετασθούν από την επιτροπή αξιολόγησης και θα κληθούν σε συνέντευξη οι υποψήφιοι που καλύπτουν τις προδιαγραφές της θέσης σύμφωνα με τα τυπικά τους προσόντα. Η επιτροπή αξιολόγησης θα εξετάσει τους υποψήφιους σύμφωνα με τα κριτήρια επιλογής. Με βάση το βιογραφικό και την συνέντευξη, θα προτείνει την λήψη απόφασης στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο.

Οι υποψήφιοι που θα κληθούν για συνέντευξη, πρέπει να έχουν μαζί τους κατά την ημέρα της συνέντευξης:
Υπεύθυνη δήλωση του Ν.1599/1986, θεωρημένη για το γνήσιο της υπογραφής του δηλούντα, ότι:
α) τα στοιχεία που αναφέρονται στη δήλωση είναι ακριβή και αληθή και

Since May 2017 Velos Youth has been working in Athens with young people aged 16 – 21 who face difficulties accessing vital resources. Young people and minors are often considered the least priority therefore Velos focuses on this age group to support them and their right to asylum, health and mental health, housing, protection, education and employment.
The centre provides:
- A daytime sanctuary through a safe and relaxed space where young people can access support from both professionals and members of the refugee community.
- A Personal & Social Development Program of activities focused on wellbeing and social / interpersonal development.
- A centralised hub for recreational and learning activities and opportunities, as well as the making of referrals to specialised external services.
- Situation support and monitoring through a case management system integrating individual development on key areas including health, housing, education, employment and legal support.

Job Description:
Velos is looking for a cultural mediator to interpret from Bangla/Urdu to English. The role will be primarily based in the youth centre, 5 days a week, supporting workshops and one to one conversations. During quarantine periods due to Covid-19, the role will be based from home will. The ideal person will have experience interpreting between the advertised languages as well as working with young people. Velos is a space where young people can feel safe and supported and the successful applicant needs to have patience and understanding for a teenage population living in challenging circumstances.
Applicants must be 22 years old and over (due to the age of young people attending Velos
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpreting in one to one meetings between young people and youth support workers.
- Providing interpretation in a variety of workshops and activities within Velos.
- Translating written material such as posters and informative documents.
- Developing daily activities, having discussions with the YP, and observing the YP’s needs and situations
- Organising and coordinating reception into the youth centre
- Assisting with outdoor activities.
- Supporting the day to day running of Velos Youth including cleaning and other daily tasks.

- Experience in Cultural Mediation or interpretation.
- Experience in interpreting 1-1 conversations which may involve sensitive content.

Job Description to include but is not limited to the following:
Description of Services: Procedures/ Assistance with:
● Family Reunification
● Access to asylum procedure
● Border procedure (admissibility)
● UAC/UAM Prison/Detention release court
● 1st interview for asylum in Greece

● Applications to speed up the procedures
● Appeals to rejections, Court procedures against detention families
● Provide asylum support for GWC shelter families twice a month (get
families to visit office in two groups) and conduct individual updates of their
asylum cases.
● Create individual files for these families in GWC office in clearly labelled
excel database to be regularly updated.
● Ensure that all families with GWC have legal residence in Greece and cash
card applications.
● Be the emergency contact for any legal emergencies
● See our families from our shelters in our office once a month in one working
day. If you feel there is not enough time to assess their legal asylum claims in
one working day, this can be stretched over two working days which will be
reflected in your weekly report.
● Weekly reports must be completed once a week in the format provided by
the management team and updated on excel sheet. Data must match. Reports
must be sent to the management team which includes Lead coordinator in
Greece and CC board members in the UK. Weekly reports are mandatory and
non-negotiable.
● NGO and organizational legal support such as NGO registrations and
conflicts with landlords
● Communications with Reception and Identification service, Governmental
organizations and other relevant legal entities.
There are vast differences on the time allocated on each case based on their nature but
on average each client should be called once every two weeks with the support of the
legal coordinator.
