Περιγραφή θέσης

 Εντοπισμός, σχεδιασμός και υποβολή προτάσεων αναπτυξιακών προγραμμάτων: εντοπισμός προγραμμάτων, επιστημονική έρευνα, εύρεση εταίρων, συντονισμός, συγγραφή και κατάθεση διεθνών και κοινοτικών προγραμμάτων

 Διαχείριση αναπτυξιακών έργων: κατάρτιση χρονοδιαγράμματος, έλεγχος ροής, συντονισμός και υλοποίηση δράσεων, κατάρτιση αναφορών προόδου, επικοινωνία με αρμόδιους φορείς

Εμπειρία

Ο υποψήφιος θα πρέπει να διαθέτει τουλάχιστον τριετή εμπειρία στην υποβολή – παρακολούθηση – υλοποίηση – ολοκλήρωση του φυσικού αντικειμένου συγχρηματοδοτούμενων αναπτυξιακών έργων.

Ειδικότερα:

 Γνώση του εθνικού, ευρωπαϊκού, διεθνούς αναπτυξιακού και επενδυτικού κανονιστικού πλαισίου

 Γνώση των διαδικασιών κοινοτικών διαγωνισμών

 Εμπειρία στη συγγραφή και υποβολή προτάσεων αναπτυξιακών προγραμμάτων, EU grants, EuropeAid, Horizon, EEA, Twinnings, Interreg

 Εμπειρία στην υλοποίηση διακρατικών έργων

 Εμπειρία στη διαχείριση συγχρηματοδοτούμενων έργων στην Ελλάδα

Εκπαίδευση

Ο υποψήφιος θα πρέπει να διαθέτει πτυχίο κοινωνικών, πολιτικών ή οικονομικών επιστημών και άριστη γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας.

Job description

  • Work as a member of an international team of experts on the processing of applications for international protection, following the relevant detailed Standard Operating Procedures and EU asylum acquis and in accordance to the instructions of the EASO Field Coordinator and/or Field Support Officer;
  • Conduct interviews applicants for international protection;
  • Prepare opinions on applications for international protection;
  • Work under the guidance and instructions of the appointed team leader and the EASO Field Coordinator/Field Support Officer;
  • Research country of origin information for the needs of the processed cases;
  • Participate in trainings, workshops and meetings;
  • Keep updated, maintains excellent understanding of and implements all developments in guidance, quality feedback, SOPs;
  • When appointed team leader, review consistently transcripts of interviews and draft opinions of the team members, provides guidance and instructions to them, ensures correct implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures and of all EASO quality guidance, supports the Field Coordinator on quality issues, as requested.

Candidates Profile

  • University degree is required, preferably in the field of law, political, humanitarian, social studies;
  • Post-graduate degree will be considered as an asset;
  • Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks will be an advantage;
  • Very good understanding of the Greek migration and asylum context;
  • Fluency in Greek and in English (oral and written);
  • Computer literate, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web based applications;

Job description

The interim will be seconded and work under the supervision of the Greek authorities (Reception & Identification Service (RIS) of the Greek Ministry of Citizen’s Protection). He/she is expected to support RIS management staff in the management of accommodation facilities for third country nationals on the Greek mainland. Under the supervision of the RIS Site Director and in close coordination with the local Site Management Support actor (IOM, DRC or ASB), in performing the following tasks:

  • Support RIS management staff with the overall management of the reception facility;
  • Maintain and update the residents’ registry and site profile as per centralized template. Extract necessary data (for various practical needs of reports such as statistics, capacity, occupancy rate etc.) and safeguard private data;
  • Facilitate and track arrivals to and departures from the accommodation facility;
  • Coordinate with RIS HQ Coordination Department to facilitate transfers of residents from/to the accommodation facility;
  • Support the referral of applicants to the Greek Asylum Service (GAS), including new arrivals, as per agreed template, and when possible facilitate appointments with GAS as well as the schedule of applicants` appointments with GAS;
  • Support the referral of most vulnerable residents to ESTIA based on established procedure;
  • Liaise with the GAS and other competent actors for the referral, prioritisation and acceleration of individual cases when needed;
  • Act as a liaison between RIS and EASO to facilitate the work of the EASO asylum support teams, mobile information provision teams, and the RIS-EASO monitoring teams;
  • Act as a liaison between RIS Site Managers and external actors;
  • Represent the RIS Site Managers in meetings or communications with external actors when needed, including coordination and working groups meetings;
  • Facilitate and coordinate in situ trainings, workshops, seminars and other educational activities addressed to field staff;
  • Facilitate and coordinate in situ meetings with internal and external actors (e.g. coordination meetings, community meetings and other thematic meetings);
  • Assist in the implementation of activities aiming at fostering the exchange of information and best practices on reception systems within the framework of the CEAS;
  • Assist in the development of methodologies and tools for EASO support for the implementation of CEAS in the field of Reception, particularly on the Directive on reception conditions for asylum-seekers;
  • Support RIS in the planning and implementation of targeted support projects;
  • Draft regular reports;
  • Attend coordination meetings called by EASO;
  • Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.

  • Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks will be an advantage;

Roving Cultural Mediator (Arabic – Greek) – Attica – DRC

Experience and technical competencies:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken Greek AND Arabic language is a requirement.
  • Minimum one year working experience, previous experience working in the humanitarian sector is preferred.
