Part-Time Sustainability Coordinator – ANKAA PROJECT

ANKAA Project stands for equitable pathways towards education and employment. As a sustainability coordinator you will be in charge to further develop ANKAA’s activities regarding the environment, a circular economy and its sustainable approach. You will manage all actions regarding sustainability in the daily running of the project, making the building “greener” and putting in place new workshops and events. You will work closely together with our department coordinators and report to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Put in place and improve activities for a responsible approach to the environment
  • Raise awareness among our students and staff about a responsible use of resources: electricity, water, paper (signage, digitalisation, etc.)
  • Recycling activities: improve the system in place
  • Implement new ways to make the daily running of ANKAA greener and more environmentally friendly
  • Organise events and workshops linked to the environment and sustainability
  • Organise regular workshops linked to recycling, upcycling, water consumption, plastic use, etc.
  • Organise a “Sustainability Family Day” once every 4 months: an event that regroups the different departments around the global theme of sustainability (upcycling workshops, cooking class with seasonal fruits and vegetables, etc.) in order to raise awareness among students, staff and their families about the environment and ways to live in a more respectful way towards it
  • Planning and Reporting
    • Establish a planning with different actions, workshops and events for the ANKAA Project
    • Ensure implementation of the different actions
    • Keep updated records of ANKAA activities
    • Create reports and/or proposals
    • Financial management
    • Manage budgets and track expenditures/transactions (linked to the sustainability activities)
    • Assume other responsibilities as assigned

As a reception coordinator you will be in charge to manage strong communication between students and teachers. You will manage registration for classes and the day-to-day organisation of classes regarding attendance, schedules and certificates. You will work closely together with our department coordinators and report to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Be the first point of contact for students, visitors and partners
    • Open and close the space according to the procedure
    • Welcome people and sign them in using our software
    • Answer the phone (calls and messages) and answer them accordingly or redirect them to the right person
  • Be in charge of the registration of students for ANKAA classes
    • Manage the organisation of the registration week
    • Explain the different forms to our students
    • Add or update students on our software
    • Prepare the classes’ attendance sheets and keep them up-to-date
    • Manage WhatsApp groups of ANKAA
  • Participate in different activities in collaboration with the other coordinators
    • Prepare the term with your colleagues
    • Attribute tasks to volunteers
    • Attend weekly coordination meetings
  • Planning and Reporting
    • Extract the right data of our softwares for impact measurement and reporting
    • Communicate data with project manager and Board of Directors
  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned

  • University Degree in Law;

Child Protection Case Worker – Lesvos – INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE HELLAS

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or degree in social work, psychology, including license to practice, or a related field;
