Supporting beneficiaries with basic information regarding access to medical treatment, transportation, and other actors (legal, social, etc) following MSF\u2019s protocols, standards and procedures, in order to create links with the communities and contribute to the visibility and acceptance of MSF.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Translate medical MSF team consultations (mental health, sociolegal team, doctors\u2026) according to the patient\u2019s language and culture on the Day Care Centre and at the mobile clinic.<\/li>\n<li>Interpreting and making the link between MSF and people in transit, host communities, asylum seeker\u2019s communities. Informing patients and communities about MSF and services it provides and the constraints, procedures and opportunities in access of services (e.g. shelter, food) provided by other actors<\/li>\n<li>Supporting in data collection and research concerning local and international context with regards to medical and humanitarian issues, in order to provide reliable information for further decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with the different MSF departments and with the outreach team.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Day Care Centre receptionist in welcoming patients and assist the nurse during mobile clinics with crowd control and administrative task.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining crowd control in the waiting area of DCC or mobile clinic, the psychologist during mental health group and individual sessions and the Humanitarian Affairs Officer in collecting testimonies.<\/li>\n<li>Informing both MSF staff and the beneficiaries on their respective customs, traditions, and cultural codes.<\/li>\n<li>Adapting communication to any circumstances, using appropriate language registry as well as diplomatic and courtesy manners by adapting the messages to the culture of the beneficiaries and developing reading capability of the context in which he should operate. Participating in creation of any material needed for communication of the team.<\/li>\n<li>Accompanying and following up beneficiaries to referrals (health and social care facilities) as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Report all relevant information expressed by the communities, always ensuring confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Accompany patients to the public hospital or private medical services and ensure that they understand the health care system.
