Cash Transfer Officer – national contract -Care
Location: Athens
Duration: until 31st of March with possibility of extension
S/he will assist Cash Manager with the successful implementation of CARE cash programs in Greece. S/he will work directly with refugees to register them, to train them and support them in the use of cash cards. S/He will monitor the cash programme validating all cash provision according to the relevant standard operational procedures (SOP) for cash interventions. The Cash Office will support refugees living in apartments, shelters and squats.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Under the line management of the Cash Manager works with refugees to provide eligible ones with cash cards.
• Ensure proper screening of beneficiaries for cash activities and that all beneficiaries meet eligibility criteria.
• Supports information dissemination, card distribution, and timely reporting of programmatic challenges.
• Responsible for records maintenance and recording data related to cash distributions
• Ensure proper implementation of the standard operational procedures (SOP) for cash interventions and follows SOPs as required
• Ensure that project data is properly collected according to confidentiality requirements and maintains confidentiality at all times.
